应卢天健教授和航天航空学院邀请，香港大学工学院副院长、机械工程系A. K. Soh教授将来我校访问交流并作学术报告，报告安排如下：

    报告题目：Behaviors and properties of ferroelectric/ferromagnetic materials

报告主要内容：
    1.Hysteresis and butterfly loops in ferroeletrics subjected to electro-mechanical coupled loading. 
    2.Crack tip domain switching in ferroelectrics.
    3.Orientation dependent hysteresis and piezoelectric effects in rhombohedral ferroelectric single crystal.
    4.Enhancement of mechanical and ferroelectric properties by adding Ag nano-particles to PZT matrix.
    5.Numerical simulation of stress and scale effects in ferromagnetics.
    6.Experimental verification of stress and scale effects in ferromagnetics.

报告人简介：
    Prof. A. K. Sohis vice dean of Faculty of Engineering, the University of Hong Kong. He earned his B. Eng. from University of Singapore in 1975 and his Ph. D. degree from University of Surrey in 1980, respectively. Prof. A. K. Soh is the fellow of Hong Kong Institute of Engineers, senior member of Institution of Engineers, Singapore, member of Singapore Structural Steel Society, and member of Hong Kong Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics. His research interests include constitutive theory and toughening mechanisms of advanced materials; micro/nano mechanics of deformation and fracture; electromagnetic solid mechanics; multi-scale modeling. Prof. A. K. Soh published over 160 refereed journal papers and 4 books.
